FACILITY RENTAL
THE FOLLOWING FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR RENTAL:
TRAILSIDE PARK CONFERENCE ROOM
Community Room: This is a formal meeting room for rent that accommodates up to 69 people. Rental fee includes 52 stackable chairs and water cooler. Restrooms are available. A kitchenette with sink, microwave and small refrigerator are available upon request. fee. Terms and conditions.
Park Room: This is a less formal room available for meetings or small parties. It can accommodate up to 73 people. Rental fee includes chairs as needed. Restrooms and a kitchenette with sink and microwave are available. fee. Terms and conditions.
PICNIC PAVILION AT TRAILSIDE PARK NORTH
There is a 30 x 30 pavilion with six 8-ft picnic tables. The pavilion will comfortably accommodate between 40 and 50 people. Parties and reunions can be held at the pavilion. Restrooms are available. (Please note that Trailside Upper Playground Pavilion is a public use facility only. Rentals of this facility are not available.)Fees. Terms and conditions.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR USE OF CONFERENCE ROOM
- The trailside Conference room may be available to government organizations, private citizens of Snyderville Basin, Recreation District Employees, charitable and nonprofit organizations, and other groups when the room is not being used by the District or its various committees and boards. Reservations will be accepted according to the priority of use and fee schedule adopted by the District.
- The meeting room will not be available for purely social functions (birthday parties, receptions, etc.). Due to staffing limitations, there will be no meetings scheduled on Sundays or holidays.
- The individual who applies for the use of the Conference Room must be at least 18 years old and will be responsible for those in attendance and the care of the room and furnishings. a. The District will hold the applicant financially liable for any damage to District property that occurs during the meeting. Failure to comply with the general rules below may result in loss of damage deposit and denial of future meeting room use for both the applicant and the group using the room.
- Set-up and clean up is to be done by the Applicant during the reservation period. Please notify the District in advance if removal of tables and chairs is requested.
- Microphones and other standard audio visual equipment may be used within the building during the scheduled time providing their use does not interfere with District business activities.
- All audio visual equipment must be provided by the applicant.
- Light refreshments (beverages, cookies, sandwiches, etc.) are allowed; red base/orange base punch, grape juice, Kool-Aid or other liquids that stain are not allowed.
- When food is served it will be the responsibility of those using the room to clean up. Notify the recreation office if a spill should occur.
- Alcoholic beverages and smoking are not permitted in District facilities at any time.
- No unlawful activities, inappropriate use of the room or inappropriate conduct will be tolerated.
- Users will be required to vacate the premises for any violation. Future privileges may be revoked should any of these activities occur.
- The District will not be responsible for any loss or damage to property. A lost and found is available at the recreation office during regular business hours.
- The following guidelines are provided to assist patrons in caring for the building while they enjoy its amenities.
a. No youth parties.
b. No glitter is to be brought into the building.
c. No open flames in or out of the building. This includes burning candles, potpourri, incense, etc.
d. Pictures, flags, and curtains/blinds are not to be removed.
e. The applicant is responsible for provisions of dishes, utensils, dishtowels, napkins, tablecloths, etc.
f. Use of building during office hours should not interfere with the normal working conditions of the District staff.
g. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by or under the supervision of an adult.
h. Facilities Management Staff must approve decorations in advance. Nothing may be fastened or affixed to the walls, ceilings or floors, in any manner. No nails or tack in woodwork or walls. i. Removal of pictures, plaques and other objects for the purpose of redecorating the Conference Room is prohibited.
j. The applicant is responsible to leave the room in a clean, orderly condition. This includes returning chairs and tables to an orderly arrangement, picking up and disposing of papers and cleaning away any clutter.
- Building keys may be picked up no earlier than two business days in advance of the reservation.
- Set up and clean up is the responsibility of the reservation holder.
- If thermostat has been adjusted, press run program button on control panel.
- Meeting room and interior/exterior lights must be turned off.
- Lock and check exterior doors to be sure the building is secure.
- Place key in key lockbox near exit door after hours, or return to office staff.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR USE OF PAVILION
- Park facility reservations may be made from three days to sixteen weeks in advance of the reservation
District Resident: Sixteen weeks in advance; County Resident: Eight weeks in advance;
Non-Resident: Six weeks in advance
Proof of District resident status is required for advance reservations and to qualify for reduced rates, as published.
- All Park pavilion reservations must be paid for at the time they are requested with a completed Request for use of Park Pavilion form.
- Set up and clean up is to be done by the Applicant during the reservation period.
- Groups are responsible to keep, and leave the area clean, or forfeit their damage deposit. Excess garbage must be bagged and deposited in park dumpsters located at the west end of the lower parking lot.
- In an effort to provide more opportunities for park users to make reservations, multi-day pavilion rentals will not be taken.
- Cancellations received prior to seven days before the reservation date will receive a refund, less a $10 handling fee. Refunds will NOT be returned to Applicants who do not use their reservation and fail to cancel as stipulated.
- In the event of inclement weather, the Applicant may be granted a refund, less a $10 handling fee, or a rain check may be issued.
- No amplified music may be played when it has the propensity to disturb the peaceful enjoyment of Park facilities by other members of the public or annoy neighboring residents.
- No temporary tents may be staked on grass areas.
- Dogs must be leashed or under the control of the owner. Dog owners are responsible for clean up after their pet. Dogs may not be tethered to trees or park equipment when damage is likely to occur. A Dog Park is available at Trailside Park for off-leash use.
- Basin Recreation is not responsible for personal property that is lost or stolen. A lost and found is maintained at the Trailside Administrative office. Items will be kept a maximum of 30-days.
- No motor vehicles may be driven within any Park, Other than in those areas, or in District vehicles, designated for that purpose. Basin Recreation trails are for non-motorized use.
- Before any concessions shall be permitted, a license or permit shall be approved and purchased through Summit County.
- Fires within park boundaries are prohibited, with the exception of propane barbecues.
- Overnight camping is prohibited within Park boundaries.
- No person shall carry or discharge firecrackers, rockets, or any other explosives within park boundaries. Firearms are prohibited with the exception of law enforcement personnel engaged in official duties.
- Alcoholic beverages are governed according to state laws and Summit County ordinances.
- No person shall engage in fighting, riotous, threatening or indecent language while on Park property.
- No person shall possess or use any illegal drugs within the Park.
