Free Class of the Month

What: Heated Sculpt Yoga
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30am

Heated Sculpt Yoga combines vinyasa style yoga with low resistance strength training and throws in a little 90-degree heat. Mix up your yoga routine with cardio bursts and sculpt exercises.

What: Meditation
When: Tuesdays at 6pm
Where: The Fieldhouse – Studio C

This is a straightforward mindfulness class open to all levels. The class provides tools to calm the nervous system, balance stress levels, and benefit overall health.

What: Senior Steps Ballet
When: Mondays & Wednesdays at 9:50am
Where: The Fieldhouse – Studio C

Basin Recreation is excited to offer this special guided ballet class through Ballet West. Increase your flexibility, strength, and balance in this low impact dance class. Check out this VIDEO for more information about the class.

What: Intro to Weights
When: Tuesday, October 1 at 11am
Where: The Fieldhouse – weight room upstairs

Is your weight room routine in a rut? Do you find yourself avoiding those machines that are unfamiliar to you? Learn how to maximize your weight room workouts through these instructional classes on machine and weight use and proper form. The free sessions will be offered the first Tuesday of every month and will add variety to your workout while emphasizing safety.

What: Lunch & Learn – Foundation Training
When: Wednesday, October 9 at 12pm
Where: The Fieldhouse – Party Room

Foundation training is a series of body weight exercises that will engage the posterior chain muscles, encourage breathe at fullest potential (decompression), and anchor specific muscles connected to the pelvis. These exercises will quickly help “un-do” what sitting, slouching, and poor movement can do to the body. You will move and breathe better, bringing a new awareness to your daily activities.
