Local Flora Naturalist Hike

Join the Open Space Team on a guided hike focusing on native and invasive plants! Learn about the importance of native species while identifying and discussing the native impact of invasive plants in Toll Canyon!

The app, iNaturalist, is a great tool for helping you identify plant species. We recommend having the iNaturalist app on hand to assist you during the hike. With the app, you will also help out the Open Space Team in recording what plant species are found on our open spaces!

Pace will be light, but participants should be prepared to hike 1-2 miles through mountainous terrain. Come prepared with good hiking shoes, sunscreen, and water.
