The NEW Willow Creek Park playground is now OPEN!
There is a whole lot to do within the 17.5 acres of developed park space at Willow Creek. From playing fields to volleyball, an exercise par course to 2 playgrounds, Willow Creek Park has something for everyone. A great one-stop-shop for a fantastic family day.
The park includes 3 playing fields, 4 fenced tennis/pickleball courts, a basketball court, 2 volleyball courts, and 4 pavilions, 3 of which are available for rental.* All courts are first-come, first-served. 2 playgrounds serve children of varying ages and the park features a 5-station exercise par course along the paved trail surrounding the park. For our furry friends, there is also the Willow Creek Dog Park.
Typically, the pond is used as part of the dog park in the summer months and for ice skating during the winter months. The pond will close for the season on Monday, October 7, 2024.
Adjacent to the developed park space, there are 66 acres of undeveloped open space under a conservation easement with Utah Open Lands. The Willow Creek trailhead provides parking and convenient access to many of Snyderville Basin’s spectacular trails. Willow Creek Park provides a welcome rest stop along the East Highway 224 Connector Trail from Park City to Kimball Junction.
Pets must always be leashed, except in the off-leash dog park, and are not permitted in the playground areas.
Basin Recreation is exploring the use of a reservation system for the Tennis Courts at Willow Creek Park to maximize court use and help guarantee playing time.
Free tennis court reservations will be available in 1-hour blocks from 7am-7pm, Monday through Sunday. Community members may have up to two, 1-hour block reservations per day. Reservations for the following week will become available each Friday. While reservations are not required to play, drop-in users must give priority to parties who have reserved time. The Willow Creek Park Pickleball Courts, and all courts at Trailside Park, will remain on a first-come, first-served basis.
Reservations may be cancelled at any time. Please be courteous – if you cannot make your scheduled time, please cancel your reservation so the time slot is available to another player.
This pilot program will run from September 1-30. If this test is successful, Basin will consider further implementation for the 2025 season. Surveys will be available to participants to provide feedback on the program.

Reservations are not intended for commercial use. Basin Recreation reserves the right to cancel reservations if the courts are being used for commercial use.
