In 2019, the District acquired the 68.52-acre parcel located on the northeast corner of Silver Creek Parkway and Trailside Drive through a generous grant by Summit County.

Willow Creek

The NEW Willow Creek Park playground is now OPEN!

There is a whole lot to do within the 17.5 acres of developed park space at Willow Creek. From playing fields to volleyball, an exercise par course to 2 playgrounds, Willow Creek Park has something for everyone. A great one-stop-shop for a fantastic family day.

The park includes 3 playing fields, 4 fenced tennis/pickleball courts, a basketball court, 2 volleyball courts, and 4 pavilions, 3 of which are available for rental.* All courts are first-come, first-served. 2 playgrounds serve children of varying ages and the park features a 5-station exercise par course along the paved trail surrounding the park. For our furry friends, there is also the Willow Creek Dog Park.

Typically, the pond is used as part of the dog park in the summer months and for ice skating during the winter months.

Adjacent to the developed park space, there are 66 acres of undeveloped open space under a conservation easement with Utah Open Lands. The Willow Creek trailhead provides parking and convenient access to many of Snyderville Basin’s spectacular trails. Willow Creek Park provides a welcome rest stop along the East Highway 224 Connector Trail from Park City to Kimball Junction.

Pets must always be leashed, except in the off-leash dog park, and are not permitted in the playground areas.

Matt Knoop Memorial

This 10-acre community park is home to the first outdoor synthetic turf multi-purpose playing field in the Snyderville Basin. The park features a small grass practice field, a shaded playground and 6 pavilions, 2 of which are available for rental. Check out Ike’s Pump Track for a great way to keep all members of the family entertained. The track accommodates bike riders of all abilities from strider bikes to the expert mountain biker and contains rollers bumps and bermed turns configured in a manner where bike riders can maintain and build momentum by pumping their bicycle through the track. The park also touts important trail connections, such as Miss Billie’s Trail and McLeod Creek Trail. Finally, visit the Summit Community Gardens, a special spot where the community can gather and learn how to grow food in a conscientious way.

Pets must always be leashed and are not permitted on the synthetic turf or in the playground area.

Our recreation facilities include a basketball court, 4 fenced tennis/ pickleball courts, a street-style skateboard park, a bike park, 2 playing fields, 2 playgrounds, 3 pavilions and a meeting room available for rental, off-leash areas, and a disc golf course.

Skate Park

This innovative, custom, multi-purpose skate park is great for beginners and advanced skateboarders. The “street-scape” park replicates favorite features such as the Vegas Marble Bench, China Banks, and Dragon Back. There is a quarter pipe feature, grind rails, bank ramps and more. The park is open from late spring to early fall during daylight hours. Please obey all rules and regulations posted at the Skate Park.

Disc Golf Course

Trailside Disc Golf Course is 9-holes of unbelievable fun arranged on a sagebrush hillside at Trailside Park. Our natural mountain desert landscape offers a mix of longer downhill shots, uphill challenges, great exercise and gorgeous views of the Wasatch Back. Each hole has legit birdie potential for veteran players and the lack of tall obstacles makes it a great course for beginners. There aren’t many trees, but players should be cautious of wildlife, mountain bikers, midday winds and thick sagebrush outside of fairways. The course is playable yearround but disc tails are recommended during the winter months. Please follow signs and stay on established trails.

Bike Park

The Park includes: 2 pump tracks, a skills development area, a tabletop jump line, a beginner skills trail, a beginner flow trail, an intermediate jump trail, an intermediate/ advanced all-mountain trail, and an advanced freeride trail.

For your safety and the safety of others, please review the Bike Park policies. E-bikes are not allowed in the Trailside Bike Park. Helmets are mandatory and protective padding is strongly recommended. Always ride in control within your ability level. Dogs are not allowed inside the Bike Park.
